Family and Institution Confirm the Passing

The sad news was announced in a public statement by the presidential library.

“Tatiana passed away this morning. She will always be in our hearts.”

As detailed in a published essay in November, it was shared that she had been found to have a type of blood cancer with a uncommon variant.

Acute myeloid leukemia is a malignancy that affects the blood and bone marrow.

Her loved ones has requested privacy as they grieve.
