Two more people have been arrested related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to police.

A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.

These detentions come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later released.

Officers arrested a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Police were called at about 08:10 GMT following reports of several people injured by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.

The attack - an event that authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as an act of terror - caused train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
